Bible Lab is designed to be a forum for anyone seeking truths in scripture. All are invited to question and engage in practical learning and lively discussions, learning about what God has revealed of his character, and about who we are as part of his creation. Our Christian faith must be like the house built on the rock in order to withstand our culture today. We have a responsibility to “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” (1 Peter 3:15)
Scripture was written over many centuries by divinely-inspired men from different cultures, backgrounds and lived experiences. God sovereignly guided and inspired them by the Holy Spirit, preserving his word for all of us. The stories, poetry and wisdom found in its pages describe God’s mercy and faithfulness, ultimately fulfilled in the Lord Jesus Christ, and are best understood from the intent and perspectives of the original authors.
